💡 Why am I so excited about REFASHIOND Ventures: The Industrial Transformation Fund? 🌎 They recognize that the global (and trending local) supply chain is ripe for critical transformation and are serving as network catalysts for smart investment in system innovation.
Builders of technology (often engineers and scientists) don’t understand industry challenges. Yet buyers don’t see the vision for research and development. We need connectors to help set the 10yr vision for industry, and I appreciate that their team has a strong focus on sustainability and the circular economy.

📸 2: Diagon is transforming equipment procurement with an intelligent sourcing platform. The team led by Will Drewery has a strong background and smart approach for tech-enabled rapid onboarding of vendors!
📸 3: Sortile has an impressive device that can analyze and determine the content of fabrics. Why do we need this? 40% of the tags/labels on our fabrics are actually wrong. We can’t trust our documentation! This causes up-front quality control challenges for producers and huge downstream issues for recyclers. Great job Constanza Gomez and team!
📸 4: GeoFlow AI is using network intelligence and layered data to create an info-rich platform for supply chain decision-making. I have been excited about network mapping and building my own business ecosystem maps since 2018 (using open-source biology software 😂). Jens Tellefsen, really exciting to see this in an interactive platform.
📸 5: ACTUAL is Sims for capital planning of business infrastructure and sustainability management. Really fun design and smart approach taking a financial planning angle. I’ve seen Karthik Balakrishnan at the last 3 events I’ve traveled to — their team is getting around and one to watch!
📸 6: Nemesis Global is assembling a defense force against Advanced Persistent Threats (APT). We live under the false impression that our critical infrastructure is “secure” in the face of cyber threats. When in fact the speed of attack has massively accelerated from 60 days in 2019 to 3.85 days in 2021 (IBM) — it’s likely faster now with AI advancements. Gentry Lane has assembled a strong team and I look forward to following their innovation!
